This past year will go down in the record books as being one of the most challenging years in decades. We had the pandemic, social injustice, political division, economic and employment unrest. We had social gathering limitations placed on us. Our young people experienced virtual learning in a way that was not beneficial for all students. So many people felt disconnected and depressed. What a year. However, the good news is that God brought us through.
Therefore, I want to share some questions to help you adjust your mindset and habits as we continue to learn how to cope with our new normal. I hope that your answers will become actionable so that you can experience more of what you desire this year:
What are some things you are doing to stay productive and fulfilled during the day?
What are some creative ways that you can stay connected with people that bring you positive energy each week?
How can you, more consistently, let people know what you want, need and feel?
How can you stay in a state of gratitude and appreciation on a daily basis?
How can you integrate your faith in your day to day decisions and activities?
How will you make self-care more of a priority this year?
What will you do to express gratitude and appreciation for others daily?
I trust that these questions will lead to actions that will bring positive energy into your life. So let’s do what we can to make this year a better year.
